The trail from Besal bus station is in fact around 17 KM. We did it on 22-07-2019 and it took us around eight hours. The way back however takes around five and a half hours. The journey upto Dudi pat lake from Mullah ki basti is around three kilometres and takes another two hours. It's a long track where you cross streams, rocks, land slides, glaciers and marshes. The UV index remains at extreme levels. The usual time of rain is from 12PM to 4PM. Proper hiking gear including shoes, walk sticks, rain cover, sunblock etc is a good way to take.
