Itinerary description

Another absolutely lovely walk around Bernau bei Berlin and neighboring villages, farms and parks. I can not get enough of these magical, endless fields spreading out as far as an eye can see. We saw a lot of horses, dozens of them, many cows, sheep and goats. We walked down the dirt roads, forest trails and some asphalt - but even then the road would go through some incredible forest or countryside. I feel I could walk through Bernau forever. It feels effortless, as it's all flat and all the trails are perfectly walkable. I was absolutely thrilled to find out that one of the Camino de Santiago trails is going through Bernau, basically in front of my building! I walked the Camino Frances a few years back, only a third of the road since I didn't have any more time, but I fell in love with it and I always plan on going back and doing the whole thing. Realizing a Camino is passing through my street was mind blowing! Now I wish to walk all the way from Northern Germany to Spain, haha!
