Itinerary description

A fantastic spectacular hike that encompasses views of the Montgo, Javea, Benitachell, Calpe, Denia, and the Sierra Bernia. It’s unbelievable to have such spectacular hiking behind La Lluca Urbanisation. There is a tricky part of the hike as you ascend the mountain but if you’re equipped with a walking stick it is not difficult to climb. The trail has wide gravel paths and as you descend there is a very easy paved road. Dogs and cars are not allowed on this trail. This trail is actually circular but I went the wrong way once I got to Camino Vell de Teulada. When on this road head left until you reach Calle de Luis Cernuda where you will turn right continuing on this road and then turn left on Calle Benito Perez Galdos and continue then turn right on Calle La Lluca. This completes the circuit.

I have followed this trail  verified  View more

Did the trail in reverse. App was very good in advising and changing direction.
Changed trail to difficult because of the loose stone and sand that caused all four walkers to stumble, slip and slide on the ascent. Rest of the route was easy.

I’m glad you enjoyed it. It is trickier doing the reverse as there is a lot of loose rocks. I always take a walking stick to get through the loose stoney area. I prefer not to go the reverse because of the loose stones. I find loose walkways easier to ascent than to descent.
