Itinerary description
Easy hiking with a steep start (maybe moderate for begginers).
Lots of great views of the mountains around (Mweelrea, Sheeffry, Ben Gorm, Maamturks and 12 Bens) plus some lakes through the loop that are great spots to stop and rest/eat while enjoying the view.
Best hike I've done in Ireland so far.
There is a car park (Lettergesh Beach Car Park) where you can leave the car.
Make sure to bring a waterproof jacket because the weather can change rapidly.
