Itinerary description

[English]

Easy route to the summit of Ben Nevis (1.344 m), the highest peak in Scotland and also in the whole United Kingdom.

It starts in the visitor centre and it follows the well-known and popular Pony track.
There is parking in the visitor centre where we have to pay to park the car. In addition to this parking there is another one a few hundred meters before this one and also another one a few hundred meters after the visitor centre where we don't have to pay to park our car.

The track is very well-marked and maintained along the way. It could be a bit more difficult to follow it on the top part in case you find fog or snow. Luckily there are some kind of mountains with rocks to help us stay on track.

The route is not difficult but it is long and steep from the beginning to the end.
We should keep an eye on weather conditions.

On the summit there is a bit mountain made of rocks and on top of it there is a tiny hut where in case of an emergency three people or maybe four could sleep.
