Itinerary description
Mid-January, with over 1m of snow in some places.
There is a pay and display car park at the start. There is a daily charge of £1 all year round.
The initial path was clear, and I got snow from 500m on. The last ascent had very deep snow and it was very foggy, so if you use this track in the summer you will probably find your way much better.
Quite tiring because of the snow, and it required navigation skills due to the snow and fog. Other than the specific conditions, it was relatively easy.
