Itinerary description

Unfortunately, the weather was not as we were expecting.

The road to reach the car park, at the end of the public road beyond Loch Voil. Continuing along the track on the north side of the glen to the farm at Inverlochlarig.
The car park was empty when we arrived luckily us, and free.

We started the walk, passing a farm, and a good indication of which way to follow.
Going up the hill was not easy. There is no path up the slopes of Beinn Tulaichean. It was very boogie and grassy from the start of the ascend, trying to get to the big cairn on our left.
We stopped to check maps and check the right way, as not path indicate the way, and trying to find the easiest way up the slopes.

We reach a fence which line runs across the slope. We took the left side trying to find the gate to pass throw. Wrong way!!---it was to the right. Well..turn back. We reach finally the gate. It is not open so mind you will need to jump it...no easy by the way.

Awesome views looking back over Loch Doine and Loch Voil I must say.

It was very foggy at the final climbing but the ridge of the mountain becomes more defined ahead and a path helps on the final climb.

The views would be impressible if it was not because of the fog and mist covering the area.

An easy path to follow along the ridge towards Cruach Ardrain.
A small cairn marks where a path coming up from the Grey Height ridge joins in, that indicating the way back to follow.
We have a small break and eat some sandwich, but trying to find a cover from the windy was no easy task.

There was a short sharp descent and reascent before the true summit of Cruach Ardrain was reached. I was quite concerned about the reascents as it appears at it was very steeply...fortunately it was not too bad in the way down.

We didn't stay too long at the summit, it was too windy and we just wanted to come down. no very enjoyable.

We retrace our steps back to the bealach with Beinn Tulaichean. Here, to turn left in the small path that heads down, at the small cairn we passed earlier on.
Very boogie and grassy all the way down.

Impressive view of Ben More and Stob Binnein.

Time to come back.

It was too windy and foggy to wander around.
