Itinerary description
Ample car park opposite Rosendael castle. The hike starts from the car park and soon reaches Koningsberg, a mound from which you oversee all the different lanes fanning out into the woods.
From there the track crosses through a green, residential area before turning left into the charming Beekhuizen estate. From there it goes uphill following an undulating track. For quite some time you follow Beekhuizense Beek, another highlight on this hike shortly after being surprised by an idyllic pond with lots of benches to enjoy this great area.
The track continues towards Rozendaalse Veld and Rozendaalse Zand, a magnificent open area. Circling back towards the start you cross the picknick area at the bottom of the Emma pyramid tower, which offers extensive views all around.
Descending towards the car park you may find Oranje-rie (on your right) a nice place for a bite and drink to finish a wonderful walk.
Much recommended if you are in the area.
