Classic Batura Glacier trek, described in the Lonely Planet "Pakistan and Karakoram Highway", on the excellent site https://trek.pk/batura-glacier/ or on my site: https://treketvoyages.wordpress.com/
I only recorded the outward journey: you either have to return by the same route or cross the difficult Werthum Pass.
This trek is in an open area (TZO): there is therefore no legal obligation to have a guide. No license either.
Total autonomy required: there is nothing in Yashpirt contrary to what one can sometimes read on the internet.
The first stage of this trek is difficult: you have to cross the moraine of the glacier (a bit of black ice, but above all a lot of stones and climbs/descents. No crevasse. Glacier equipment is not useful.). The route changes often and there is not just one. It is not a path: there are traces of passages and a few cairns. It is not easy to follow the route. And it's also quite exhausting: we're not moving fast. Please note that we did not find water in Uzhokpirt. We find it only 30 minutes before Yashpirt. It is therefore a long mandatory first stage without water.
This stage is also exposed to rockfall and landslides, so avoid going there during or shortly after rain.
On the rest of the trek, we find a path most of the time. No particular difficulty after Uzhokpirt.
