Itinerary description
Moderate trail and even easy at most of the parts.
Just the going down part is a bit tricky for amateur hikers and the start of the hill climb once you reach the lowest point is a bit too steep and might be hard for some but other than that it's very easy.
You can start this trail by parking your car next to Saint Sassine monastery.
Follow the recorded trail all the way and you will reach the bottom of the valley.
It's not always a clear trail so make sure you keep checking the recorded one (I was following one as well)
If you go durimg Autumn there won't be the river and lake to enjoy so that's a plus in case you do it in Spring season.
Climbing up is a bit tricky, there are some LMT signage so try to stick with those once you cross the steep part it becomes easier and at some point the trail becomes very clear with so many LMT signs.
PS: the last part of this loop (around 3 KMs) will be on asphalt road leading you all the way back to Saint Sassine because that's the trail I was following so in case you hate that make sure you find another loop or you can go down and up on the same route.
