Itinerary description
Even though you´ll not reach any summit along the way (unless you divert at Sokolove Staje and decide to crawl a long and unmarked ridge trail to Bukovac) the views are by no means less breathtaking and the old pine forest on the slopes beneath Pakline is really enchanting.
Waypoints
A trail intersection above Topići
Follow the Wikiloc map and take a good look for cairns.
Views from the ravine beneath the Bukovac ridge
The climb through the ravine is the most difficult and strenous part of the hike.

The valley near Sokolove Staje
There is a church of St. Nikola above the valley (the trail to the summit of Bukovac should start there).
Napoleon´s road
The road across Dalmatia, from Obrovac to Boka Kotorska was built during a very short period of French rule over the region (1808-1813). Today this road is known as “Napoleon's Road" or the "French Road". This part of the road was supposed to connect the littoral zone of Makarska with another one passing the Biokovo hinterland. Due to the withdrawal of the French administration, this part of the road remained unfinished. Trivia: It seems to me, that some scenes of "Game of Thrones" have been shot on this road.
