Itinerary description
This is a loop hike, following first some of the picturesque country roads of the Sintra district, then, about half way going through a one way phase in order to get to the Fervença waterfall. After that it is following the Lizandro river where you can also find an ancient Roman bridge. Afterwards the path leads away from the river, beginning the ascent towards the Broas abandoned village. You can take a break both in Broas and the Fervença waterfall. After Broas, depending on your speed, you can walk for about an hour back to the starting point of the hike.
