Itinerary description
We hike the popular barranco de las Peñitas to see the Peñitas Dam and start the climb towards the Arco de las Peñitas. The steep climb is meant to be a cul-de-sac but we decide to climb the 400m+ hill behind with some scrambling for an epic view of the valley. We return to de rio Palmas stopping for a needed beer in a fortunate Oasis. We head to Betancuria for lunch.
