Itinerary description
The route starts from the hotels, goes to the Barrancas del Cobre cablecar station. Taking the cablecar, on the other side of the canyon continues to Bacajipare village, comes back to the station and goes to the very center of the canyon, then completes a loop to the hotels through a beautiful panoramic route. It is not recommended without a Tarahumaran guide, as there are rough parts and unmarked areas.. we met our Tarahumaran guide Calistro (impressive ultra marathon runner) at the Bacajipare entry point at the cablecar station

Very impressive area. The trail is very exciting. We used the Sipline instead of the cable car and the nice helpers brought our luggage with the cable car. Especially the beginning of the trail brings us to unbelievable vantage points in both sides of the canyon. The path at the beginning is a bit more difficult and you should be well on foot. Very easy climbing points. One does not need a guide for this tour it is very clear and well developed. The GPS is completely sufficient. We took the tent with us and settled down at a place with a beautiful view. But the tour definitely doesn't require a tent and can be done in a few hours without any problems. The 20 km display is definitely inclusive cable car.
