This trail is NOT 10.8km! Loaded onto my Suunto the distance was over 18km! Having walked 5km we confirmed we were about a quarter of the way around.
As a result the timings and speed data are unreliable.
As the introduction says, this section of the reservoir must be completely empty as part of the route passes over the floor of the reservoir and crosses a substantial stream with no obvious path or bridge.
However, the route is not steep and the scenery is pleasant.
