Baqal Village Loop Hike. Ras al Khaimah. (Wadi Ascent, Trail Descent )

A challenging hike of 9 Kms with 700 meters Elevation gain completed in total 6 hours including breaks during warm summer month.

We hiked up from Wadi Naqab via the rarely hiked Wadi SamPat near the Naqab Dam that goes almost all the way up in left side along the Offroad trail to Baqal.
There is lot of mild Bouldering and nice Fig trees on the Path. The Wadi touches the Baqal offroad trail about 500 meters before the village.

From Baqal village, you can proceed to the Talah village from the left side which is popular trail. There are some interesting modern Stone houses on the way. One house has its own Helipad too !!

From Talah village, you can hike up further towards Yibir Mountain offroad through the Talah village and then further hike through a Wadi to reach the Sat Comms Tower mountain of Yibir at 1425 meters elevation.

While Descent, we hiked down using a different trail and hiked down to Wadi Naqab from Baqal through the well known washed out Offroad trail.

Most of the Hike is on Mountain surface so planning of Shade, Water, Nutrition and other precautions are very necessary.
