Itinerary description
From Ban Thamlod to Ban Muangphaem you pass a mountain 400 metres high. The village of Ban Muangphaem is very interesting to see, so if you go with a local guide you will have an opportunity to understand better village reality and to visit the guide's home. On the way back you follow a river, which you cross several times.
The trail is possibly inaccessible in the rainy season.

Armed with 3 navigation apps and plenty of experience we started this trail by ourselves. There's many tracks to choose from. If you are confident about your jungle skills it's doable, but if like us at some point you start doubting and return to the line on the map you'll end up looking more at your screen than at the scenery. Some roads have been added and at some point a house with fenced area has occupated the trail. We also returned via road as we didn't know the current status of the water height in the river. So our advice: take a guide.
