Itinerary description
This is very easy trekking. Essentially just a two hour walk with some ups and downs. A nice signposted walk through the forest explaining what you're seeing and lots of insects, plants and animals to observe, as well as village life.
I forgot to turn the recording off in the village and that is where the trek ends, so I'd say it's more 4.2km than the recorded distance. If you're doing this on your own, you need a Karen guide but could continue walking up the road back to the start point if you need to do a loop to get back to transport.
The sticks available at the beginning of the walk are definitely worth using. There are quite a few steps and uneven surfaces.
