Itinerary description
I would divide this trail in three key sections. The first one unfolds amidst the green shadows of the pine-trees and musky forest. Then we head to the open, with imposing mountain peaks in the backdrop and lively brooks and falls singing the song of melting snow. The third and last section is the most demanding. As we get a bit more altitude, the path tends to be more heavily covered in snow (sometimes as deep as our waist), and also becomes much steeper towards the end, which makes hiking more difficult and slow. However it is all worth when we get to the top of the hill and are rewarded with a magnificent view of the mountains and valley around.
