After bivouacing in Bardumal, taking advantage of the fact that it is the Perseids (although I only see a shooting star because I fall asleep instantly), and a good breakfast, we headed towards Khoburtse,
We left following the course of the Braldo river, with the Liligo Peaks looming on the right, and beginning to intuit the Paiyu Peaks on the left.
The normal thing in the Baltoro treks is to spend the night in Paju, but we left it to the left and crossed the river approaching the Baltoro Glacier, which we entered today, through the area of the military camp.
In addition to some bridge we have to cross some torrent and take off our shoes. The path goes along the edge of the glacier and the show begins. The Uli Biaho, the Trango Towers and the Cathedral begin to appear on our left until we stand in front of them to see them in all their splendor.
To finish the route and access our camp today, we have to cross another stream of the glacier. It is very hot in the Baltoro, so since it is already afternoon the stream is very wide and the water carries a lot of force. We all managed to cross without falling into the water, although I still don't know how we managed it.
