Itinerary description
Would have been much easier if I had done this a week later, as it was I did this walk 1 day after torrential rain therefore very slippy, puddles of death with 50cm gloopy shoe swallowing mud.
At the lake do not follow my route but stay along the waters edge or in the water, my route was a dog trail.
Needed walking poles because of the mud and slick surface.
Not a walk I would recommend if it has been raining.
