Itinerary description
Parked in Passo Rolle and hiked to Baita Segantini which is a nice easy 45 minute hike up. Once up there the view is amazing. I then decided to hike to the top of II Cristos Pensante to get an even higher lookout point. Again beautiful views and a bit steeper hike. I wanted to try and fit a third hike in all the way to the town of Val Venegia and have a nice meal but had to stop at the refuge as the weather was not good. The hike back from Val Venegia is all uphill and made it very tough because I'm used to all the hard work being done by this point. So if I would do it again I would probably hike from Val Venegia to Baita Segantini to II Cristos Pensante and back to Val Venegia. But if you are short on time and want a 3hr hike option with all the high lookout points, park in Passo Rolle and hike to Baita Segantini to II Cristo Pensante and back down to Passo Rolle.
