Itinerary description
it's wonderful to catch the last moment of snow before they are completely gone. just a little bit icy. as long as you were careful, you would be fine, even without crampons.
we tried a different way this time by taking xueqin cao trail up, while red maple forest trails down, which has made our track clockwise and beautiful. it's not that bad going down from red maple, although there are bumpy stones along the way, not as flat as xueqin cao, they are a bit more gentle. esp. the snow has made the trails much easier.
