Itinerary description
You can start this hike at the south end at the parking area near the dam of a reservoir that is along the road up to Baihe village. The hike from the reservoir to Baihe village is along a paved road. If you want a shorter hike you can drive on to Baihe village and park there. At the north end of this hike there is also a hill that you can hike around to make a loop at the end. From satellite photos it looks like there are good dirt roads all the way around the hill. You can also hike a bit beyond the hill and arrive at Jiuduhe, where a car can pick hikers to make this a point to point hike. this would would be the same as what the Beijing Hikers' book lists as their Baihe-Jiuduhe Hike.
