Itinerary description

The name Baia delle Zagare derives from the "zagare", or orange blossoms. After passing through an olive grove, the track gets denser and greener, and will take you to the beaches which are dominated by cliffs of white limestone. Zagare Bay, because of its beauty, attracts a lot of visitors in the high season (July and August), so it will definitely get crowded. That said, the walk is worth it and the rewards are obvious. Bear in mind that the descent at the start is fairly steep so decent sneakers, or walking sandals, will come in handy.
