There's a paid parking available at the site and you have to descend about 200 ft into the gorge. There is a cable car lift available if you don't fancy walking backup, which takes you to the half-way point. You then need to walk up the rest of the way. There are now building proper stone steps to get to the upper lift station, so it should be easier to access the site in the near future.
But actually getting here is hard work. It's about 2 hrs drive from Beirut and driving up windy narrow roads to the height of over a mile (5800 ft) before reaching the place.
How much is the entrance?
There is no entrance fee to the site. Only the parking and the cable car rides are chargeable.
