Itinerary description
The path starts at the highest point of the island - Pico Alto. The trail runs through dense forest, along beautiful green pastures and comes down to the rocky beach on the north coast.
Be aware that most of the time it is drizzling in the mountains and some of the roads are muddy. Good foot wear, walk sticks and water tight clothes are very much advised.
