Itinerary description
We drove from Ayder and once the road to Avusor got tricky we hitchhiked up to Avusor. From there we climbed up to the lake and back to Avusor and walked back to our car on the road. We did the hike in mid-October, so the weather was quite temperamental so good hiking clothing is required. Early start recommended to avoid the fog!
