Itinerary description
Tentamos seguir um percurso assinalado pela Câmara de Ferreira do Zêzere mas não encontramos qualquer marcação. Valeu-nos o track retirado do Wikiloc que, apesar de alguns caminhos estarem muito tapados, nos ajudou a chegar ao fim, num percurso um pouco duro mas com paisagens lindas.

This walk up around Avecasta is great in the spring (April - June) when the rock roses are out.
I parked by the little chapel and walked up to the windmill (Moinho) starting my circuit to the west of the windmill. While walking up to the windmill check out the Cave (Gruta, although it is fenced off). There have been signs of Neolithic occupation (< 3000 BC) and the trail is more fascinating think of the eons that people have walked in that area.
There is a little downhill part that has some loose rocks, almost a scramble, so wear practical shoes. Other than that the hike is Easy.
