Itinerary description
A long day hike with substantial elevation gain and few views, on trails that see little traffic. We set up a car shuttle, parking one car at Storm King Ranger Station and driving the other to the Aurora Creek trailhead on Hwy 101. The trails were in generally good shape, but the Aurora Ridge Trail can be hard to follow where it crosses meadows.
