Itinerary description
Confluence area: When the confluence and the no hands parking areas are full, this trail allows quick access to Mountain Quarry RR trail(western states trail) from a location a little south of the confluences on hwy 49. Nice wide dirt road. There is parking for perhaps 5 or 6 cars.
If you are traveling with children you should probably just use this trail to access WST. You may not want to continue past Western States trail to the beach in this area. The beach near the end of this trail has been reputed to have a few nudists.
