Itinerary description
Above the confluence: This is an interconnect trail between upper stagecoach and the ridgeview trail. As with other trails near stagecoach this trail is popular with mountain bikers. Hikers be attentive. Although this area is wide enough to have been an old wagon road, the trail has only been maintained as a single track. Landslides, bushes and tree make this single track. However, unlike a lot of single track in the Russel road collection, at least this trail has plenty of places for hikers to get off the trail to let bikes pass.
This is not a stand alone trail but is a branch off of other trails. This trail can be reached .3 miles on ridgeview trail from the southwest corner of the foresthill bridge:
