Itinerary description
Start at Le Roux, a small town 1,5 Km down from the main road.
Park at the mairie or drive a bit further untill you find a parking spot.
Find the sign pointing to the GR 7.
This cobblestone trail may be quite slippery on the way down (back).
A hiking stick is recommended.
The trail goes up rather steep untill it meets the main asphalt road.
Hike left and cross the road and follow the sign GR 7, uphill.
Going uphill on a forest road, steeper and steeper still.
At the asphalt road the climbing ends and the hike is an easy stroll from now on.
After about 1 Km, follow the red white markers into a forest road to the right.
At the main asphalt road, turn left and hike dowhill on the road marked as a dead end.
Follow the white red markers.
Just before the road turns sharply left, the trail goes straight ahead into the forest.
After a while the forest opens.
At the hotel, there is a secondary parking. This allows you to make the loop without the climbing.
At the hotel, cross the road to the left.
Follow the sign Les Sagnas.
After a while cross the road and head further downhill.
At a house, turn right, cross the small creek and take the left/straight forest road uphill.
Follow it untill you meet a small asphalt road, follow the asphalt to the left and complete the loop.
Hiking time: 3 Hour, 25 minutes.
