Itinerary description
From Athamania village take the road that continues South in the Moutsariatiko valley. Soon the road crosses the stream and climbs on the Eastern side of the valley through a fir forest. It is possible to cut several turns of the road if on foot. Finally the road ends at a deserted hat. Above the hat there is a trough with good water. From here on just follow the eastern side of the wide valley and climb to the small call visible ahead. Then follow the ridge on your right until you reach Fourka peak. Magnificent views to Kakarditsa, Kriakouras, Chatzi and more. This will take you approximately 3.5 hours.
