Itinerary description
Atalanti trail is an official well-marked trail. The trail goes around Olymbos mountain as Artemis trail, but it is lower and longer.
It is passing through dense areas of black pine trees and Foetid Juniper. There are wonderful views. The way goes beside the entrance tunnel of the chrome mine (closed).
The second part of the trail (last 4 km) from the Troodos-Prodromos road to the village is more difficult than the first one.
In Troodos vilage you can visit Troodos Visitor Center (check working hours before).
