--Astaffort-- OR-4867923:Porte de Gascogne

Cette boucle s'organise autour de la commune d' Astaffort, porte de la Gascogne et du Brulhois, avec un départ sur les bords du Gers qui contourne la colline sur lequel est perché le village. Le randonneur arpente les coteaux de blés qui lui font offrande d' un superbe panorama sur la campagne vallonnée du Brulhois. On devine également la vallée de la Garonne d'où surgit les colonnes nucléaires de Golfech encadrée en premier plan par un village perché et un ancien moulin à vent restauré. Les couleurs changeantes des blés proposent un spectacle contemplatif: le bleu, l' orange, le rouge foisonnent. Le promeneur continue vers le nord le long des crête et longera même la frontière entre le Gers et le Lot-et-Garonne d'où il observera les collines de Gascogne. Puis c'est la descente vers le village et la fin de ce circuit rural.

This loop is organized around the town of Astaffort, door between Gascony and Brulhois, departing on the banks of the Gers river which skirts the hill where stands the village. Hikers roam the hills of wheat fields that are offering a panoramic view of the rolling countryside of Brulhois. They may also guess the Garonne valley from which spring the nuclear Golfech columns framed in the foreground by a hilltop village and a restored windmill. The changing colors of wheat offer a contemplative show: blue, orange, red abound. Walkers continue north along the ridge and even run along the border between the Gers and the Lot-et-Garonne districts where they will observe the Gascony hills. Then, it is time for the descent to the village and the end of this rural circuit.
