Itinerary description
Parz lake has been one of the hidden places in Armenia till last years. Now it's overcrowded and whenever you plan to go there make sure that it's not on the weekend. The name ''Parz'' means "Clear'', ''Pure'', ''Transparent''.
This trail leads you through the woods and amazing landscapes to the village og Gosh, where XII century monastery Goshavank is situated.
The trail is very well marked by Transcaucasian Trail, but take GPS in any case, as there are some confusing parts on the way.
Best season for this trail starts from the end of April till November (After mid October the trees are bared and from November it starts to snow in this area, so the trail will be covered by snow)
Best season: May, June, October
What else you should know?
MOSQUITOS!!! There are a lot of mosquitos from mid June till October, so it would be better to wear trousers, not shorts and long sleeve instead of t-shirt.
