Itinerary description
A long loop, partially on unmarked paths, in the secluded area over the eastern Ramon.
The trail start at the the village Sapir and climbs west inside the natural reserve. We cross a dry river bed and reach a site of a prehiostoric volcano. We follow Karkeshet dry creek, with its peculiar and twisted creek walls until we reach Ashborn creek. From here we follow Ashborn creek on unmarked path. The path inside the twisting creek is very nice and easy to walk. At the end of the creek we bypass a small dry waterfall to reach the cliff above the wide wide Tzvira creek. We meet Tzvira where the flash floods carved a large twisting waterfall, and some water pools are full. We continue north along the cliff' high above Tzvira creek, with very nice views west towards Ramon. Evantually the path connects to a dirt roads which leads to another large waterfall - Ashborn waterfall. A short way east we meet the path we left earlier at Karkesht creek and continue the same way back to Sapir.
27km, +/-500m, 6.5hrs
