Itinerary description

This is a shorter version of another hike I recorded starting also at Ascot Vale Station. The other version crosses the river at Maribyrnong Road whereas this version crosses near the golf course. It's an easy walk, mostly flat. You'll see lots of fellow walkers and cyclists out enjoying the river trails. This hike finished with dinner at Doutta Galla Hotel, but there are plenty of good food options at Newmarket or you can walk or take the train back to Ascot Vale Station to complete the loop.
