Itinerary description
A short snow walk from Arz Ehmej camping to wadi Hafroun going up on LMT side trail and down following the valley at the base of mount Hafroun. We didn't have snowshoes and there was enough snow to make our progress difficult at some parts. The descent was not easy in snow and there is no trail to follow there. This loop may look easy but the descent may be difficult for beginners. This loop is definitely easier in summer (without snow). I rated this trail difficult because of the non blazed descent. To make it easier, coming back on the same route is an option. Enjoy and stay safe.
