Nice day hike option for a day of good weather in Arrowtown.
The walk begins on one side of the Arrow River and goes up through the forest until entering a pure grassland environment.
The climb is continuous and tiring but the views from the ridge are wonderful: you can see Lake Hayes, Las Remarkables and the Wakatipu Basin.
