Itinerary description
This is a circular trail
Entry is possible at multiple locations
We started at the east side near the military barracks and hiked to the north
Not recommended in the summer unless you like heat strokes
You will encounter flamingos pretty much any time of the year
Those are the pretty white birds that turn pink in adulthood from eating brine shrimp from where they get the pink pigment
Also on the northwest corner of the hike you can find a real aqueduct
They say it’s from ancient times
How ancient I don’t know
But looks Roman
On the southeast end there is the palace of Hala Sultan Tekke
Definitely not Swedish
