Itinerary description

From the starting point between Fort Alexander and Fort Jacques, this is a nice walk around the hills. If you walk the hike as indicated, it's 19km long, but you can shorten it to 10.5km if you take the short but between the 2 indicated indicators.

As you start at the top of the mountain, this walk starts with a descent into a narrow valley. Here you need to cross a small stream, which should be normally no problem. After that, you start to rise on the other side. Just after the stream, the track might be a little hard to find, but if soon you'll find the well used track. It's a quite steep up the mountain, but eventually, you'll get to the unpaved road again.

From that point, the rest of the walk will be on wider roads.

Once you get back to the starting point, don't forget to visit the forts.
