Itinerary description
Relatively easy hike around Goldra de Baixo that is set more than 400m above the sea level. This a very lovely hike because all the time you have an amazing view, either of the near by villages, the ocean or the valley. When the highest point is reached - it presents a terrific ocean view that spans from Faro to Quarteira including the national park of Ludo and much more. Grab a binocular for greater experience.
The first part of the road is very easy path with a bit of a trek up hill but on the asphalt (mostly). Way back is bit more challenging going downhill on a narrow path at some points. Its rocky and sandy, so dont slip or trip.
There are many ways how to return back or even make a larger loop so allow yourself time to explore on your own.
And Enjoy!

Really nice trail! Just did it in March and it was amazing. The trail is really beautiful. So much biodiversity to observe, mantis, crab spiders, many birds and flowers. Just had to check regularly the path to follow.
I did again and ut us beautiful. Careful With the god sanctuary, just experienced dogs unleashed and really aggressive

Mainly asphalt and dirt road. Yet, the moment I got off the road, we got lost... The other extreme. We spent an hour wading through thorn bushes, not pleasant. So either thorn bushes or roads... None is really an attractive option to me. The environment is very nice though.
