Itinerary description
This walk is on the east side of Port-au-Prince.
To get to the starting point of the hike, travel through Croix-de-Bouquets and follow the dirt road via Digner and Dumay.
In Dumay, you need to cross the riverbed. But outside the rainy season, this is more "bed" than "river" so you should have no problems to get to the starting point.
The first 2.5 km, you follow small track, but from there get to a dirt road that should be more easy to follow.
The summit of this walk is after around 8 km, for which you have ascended around 1000 meters. The 9 kilometres going down are mostly over similar dirt roads, following the ridge of the mountains.
Please note that the track is drawn on a map and, unlike the 100+ walks I published on Wikiloc, I haven't actually walked. So there is a small chance that the track is not very clear and that you may need to improvise from time to time. But as the track follows a dirt road for most of the way, I don't expect any major surprises.
