Itinerary description
This route is longer and harder than the most usual route starting at Kari Lake (3.200 m) , but is also much more beautiful and rewarding. From Aragats village, follow the road that goes straight into the gorge. I left the car some 2 km after the village (2.200 m). Few first km are on the "niva road" that follows the valley, until it ends at a field with a waterfall. There begin the first steep slopes. I climbed this first slope finding my way on the right side. Then I found a marked trail that lead me to the crater of Aragats. From there, I headed to the saddle between E and N summits, and then always up following a steep, marked trail. The last ridge between the pre-summit and the real summit is pretty exposed and add some extra excitement to the summit.

It's quite easy to follow the indications, by the right side of the waterfall, there's a trail, but as it's not too marked is difficult to find, but it's not needed. The ascend is easy to find, and the views from the summit are awesome.
