Itinerary description

At the parking lot go in a northeasterly direction until you find the beginning of the trail (don't go back along the dirt road, but if you do you will find the trail head along the dirt road on the left).
The trail now heads south until it gets to the start of the Jim Thomson Trail (close to the dirt road).
Follow this wide and easy trail. Enjoy the red rocks, almost at the end of Jim Thomson Trail, go downhill and meet a crossing with a trail heading to Wilson Canyon left or the the bridge right.
Head left to Wilson Canyon. Just before the end you may take a short unofficial trail scrambling up to the right (sometimes marked with rocks) , out of the canyon.
