This trail continues where the white cliffs hike stopped.
At the white cliffs it seems as you can't go any further.
But you can, go left up in a small wash uphill an try to follow the GPS route.
The route may be different than the one we hiked in January 2011.
These are more sandy canyons and may change more quickly.
The hiking is fairly easy, because of the added sand you have more grip, going up and down.
Not advisable after rain, it may get very muddy.
Crossing over to the standard wash you will pass lots and lots of washes.
Try to follow burro/sheep trails, they are by far the best.
In the standard wash, you encounter one drop ("drop 2").
That you can climb at the left side.
Or you can go back and turn right into a small canyon, the route may be marked.
In this canyon stay closer to the bottom and don't follow it to the end.
Go right as soon as it's possible, around the mountain uphill.
Next go more or less straight. Make sure you go down the easy way, as there is a very easy way down.
We checked the hike in 2012 and we stumbled upon 5 Sheep. Our closest encounter yet in Havasu.
Later on we also spotted a Burro close by.
Hiking time: 4 Hour 20 minutes return.
