Lizard cove
When you go back from the cove, there is a canyon to the left, just before the canyon gets narrow.
At point "Left Wash", take the left wash uphill.
As the wash turns more to the right, hike to the left (West).
A rather flat area, rocky but easy to hike on.
Keep going west following the easy route, not real trails here.
You can see the red canyon further away
Watch for the fence around an abandoned mine.
You can go to the lake to Keyhole landing (small beach).
From the mine a faint jeep trail leads into the canyon.
Follow the canyon all the way back to the trail you came on.
Turn left and cross the jeep trail.
Past the wash, take the left branch of the trail that goes over the bank of the crack wash.
Eventually this trail descends into the crack wash and follow it back to the car.
Hiking time: 4 Hour, 10 minutes.
Follow the same trail as in the Lizard cove trail.
