Itinerary description
A scenic loop, following a couple of washes.
Start at the second parking in Sara park.
Hike downhill, turn left into the small wash and head over the saddle.
Follow the Burro trail and at the steel cable turn left and head over the next saddle.
In the wash below turn sharply left at the next crossing.
Keep right in the next fork.
Leave the main wash at point "X Leave main wash Right"
Try to hike out of the washes and head for the Game Tank.
Just above the tank you can see a goat trail.
Follow it to the saddle.
Over the saddle the hike is more rocky and a bit slippery.
Try to get into the wash below.
The wash is rocky at first, but easy to follow.
At a drop, go right uphill, over the next hill to the west.
Don't go back into the same wash, but head for the next wash more to the right.
Hike this wash uphill, follow the goat trails, heading North by North/West.
This hike will be difficult to follow without a GPS and easy to get lost.
A hiking stick is highly recommended.
